When will VA close gyms, restaurants, etc?

According to the mayor of Alexandria, these kinds of decisions have to come from the Governor. I live in Alexandria and many of ask have been asking him on his fb page to close the restaurants and bars for St Patrick's day and he keeps replying the city doesn't have the authority. I would assume the same for Fairfax, which is really depressing. |

Seems like there is an opportunity for companies like LA Fitness and Lifetime and others to do FREE workout sessions streaming -- Zumba, Yoga, Weight + aerobic workouts, Senior work outs, etc. -- as a way to (1) help people who are staying home, and (2) Market the crap out of this pandemic! They have a pretty low-cost opportunity to live stream these classes and get people to come back to sign up for memberships when it is over. LA FITNESS--- GET ON IT! |

Well then there's no reason to close gyms, because they're pretty deserted anyway. There are FAR more people going grocery shopping, when they haven't run out of food. Or working in warehouses to deliver your Amazon sh!t. |
