First of all, whomever posted the negative comments about Samara should be blocked. Lauryn would not care for this at all. Second, we all wish Lauryn and her family a safe a restful time away from NBC4. No one deserves it more! Hope that you are at home and staying fit. We can't wait to see you on air again.

That poor girl Amelia is working hard, covering the afternoon shift and for Doug who appears to take off a lot. I do miss Lauryn. She has a lively and high-spirited personality. Also like Somara. She has a beautiful smile. NBC4 should use one of their sportscasters to cover weather.

Lauryn will be back. She is going through a difficult time. Please pray for her. She is a ray of sunshine loved and valued by NBC. Samara is also amazing. So are Amelia Chuck and Doug. Doug also went through an extremely difficult time which is why he was off. The whole team is fantastic.

Please keep this thread loving and positive for Lauryn. Thank you to those here who are showering her with love and praise. It will mean a lot to her.

I believe Doug’s Dad is or was very ill and out of state, so he traveled to be with him.

Have no idea about Lauryn? From the sounds of this....it’s not good. She has posted a few random things on Instagram lately.
