We were invited to one of these at an Embassy Suites. Kids had a blast. Parents were exhausted. |
That’s the water, which should be fine. But I’d be thinking about all the body fluids and germs in the locker room. I would not let my kid go to a sleepover at a hotel at the moment. Why would I risk that, for a party? |
Same here. |
Because of coronavirus? Or just generally? If just generally, why not? I wouldn’t have a party like this, but I wouldn’t be opposed to my kid attending one: what difference does it make? |
Eh |
Old town Alexandria autograph has a fairly small pool. It’s nice but not huge |
Imagine you booked a weekend at a hotel. Maybe you'd like to take a swim with your spouse or even your kids and then you get there and the whole pool is overwhelmed by a birthday party. Not cool. |

This is discouraged now after the kid fell into the center of an Embassy Suites. They don’t want kids running around overlooking everything. |
Or someone who lives in a community with pool party rental packages. |
Kids First on Certified kid rents out their pool for $250.
I wouldn't let my 10 year old sleep over with other people except if I knew them very well, especially with a pool involved and I have a good swimmer. |
Why would you want a bunch of kids running around a hotel and in a tiny pool with no lifeguard?
|
Never occurred to me that a hotel would be ok with so many kids in one room. I might have other concerns about allowing my DD to attend, but coronavirus would not be one of them. We've kept up swimming lessons, etc. |
