The child is 1.5. Math and inductive reasoning. If the child didn’t get vaccinated last year, then is it likely they were vs instead before that? |

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I actually did try the Montgomery County Health Department before posting, who sent me to CVS, who told me they only do 3+. I am calling around to the other specific places recommended tomorrow - thanks to those who had leads.
Answers to some of the queries posed: 1. My child was vaccinated last year in two doses (during our flu season, which starts in April) so I believe she only needs one this time. Thanks for the heads up in case she hadn't though. 2. I didn't have my child vaccinated before traveling overseas because (as another poster observed) it was not flu season where we were and doctors did not have the vaccine in stock. I asked. 3. I have located a regular pediatrician in the area for my child, but they don't have the vaccine in stock. |
Pediatric Care Center of Bethesda. They don't take insurance except for Cigna. You can book via Zocdoc. |

One person already suggested but in case you missed it - try Capital Medical Group in Chevy Chase. They are a large practice and always seem well stocked, though I have no idea what they have right now. We like them as a practice, and if they don't have it I am bet they could tell you who does. |
I know the CVS minute clinics in Arlington do 18 month+, and I assume that is a virginia wide policy if you are willing to drive. Good luck! |
Also, with a different flu season I’m assuming OP is in a country that gives the Southern Hemisphere formulation and not the Northern. Most counties don’t cross stock the different formulations. They usually vaccinate for different strains. Source: live in a Southern Hemisphere formulation country and had to wait to get the Northern Hemisphere one when on a long visit back to the US. |
OP here. I managed to get an appointment with Capitol Medical Group and get the shot. Thank you all for the help!
