"hotel guitarist." He plays in a band called Tokio Hotel. I'd never heard of them before, but it was obvious in context that it wasn't about an actual hotel.

But, honestly? He’d probably have a better income and be a more stable partner if he was a “hotel guitarist,” especially if he worked somewhere like the Ritz or the Four Seasons.
