We are both doctors. We have always been hired as a couple. They understand that I am not going to move somewhere my husband doesn’t have a job and vice versa.

| We help one another with resumes, interview prep, etc. We are in different fields but sometimes in my career I encounter people from his field and I've helped connect him with someone who ended up hiring him. But I didn't influence anything (nor was I in any position to, this was a very casual acquaintance) - just made the introduction. |
I am not a Fed, but I might let my boss know that my spouse is looking for a job, and that if they can’t find one, I might have to quit and move to where they do find work. |

We do mock interviews and proof reading on documents.
We work for the same very large government agency and try to keep ourselves from running in the same circles. However, we both enjoy pretty good reputations here, and I think that in the past it has helped the other one when opportunities come up. "Hey, is your husband Larlo still looking for a step up?" |
