Most popular car color? It's not a surprise.

I'll never have a black car or a car with black interior. My car sits in an open parking lot all day and gets hot enough in the summer that sometimes it hurts to sit down. I don't need a black exterior or interior making that worse.

We have a white Subaru; it was the last of the model year on the lot and an incredible deal with all the bells & whistles.

But I will never buy a white car again. You can see every dirt smudge and ding.

I really, really wanted the midnight blue color in my most recent car, but it didn't come on the model I wanted. I decided model features mattered more than color, so gray it was. Collectively over the years, our cars have been blue (2), silver (3), green (2), white (1), and gray (3).

I can't stand red, white, yellow, or orange on cars. Subaru also has this khaki gray/blue that depresses me to look at. It's almost as bad as Walter White's beige Aztec.

In 10 years all those gunmetal grey cars will be known to be tired.

Remember teal?

I'm dated. I've had gunmetal gray cars for the past 15 years.

I have had:
red
pewter (yes, it was called pewter)
silver
silver
white

Dark color cars show up every little scratch, and it's hard to see it when it's dark.

Red - I honestly feel this is a cop magnet

I wanted a silver for my current car, but it didn't have the right interior colors for it, so I went with the white. Not a huge fan of white cars, but I don't want dark colors.

Our three cars are red, white, and blue.

Grey/silver is not dated, it's been around heavily since they 90s. I just sold my 2002 silver car for a very similar shade silver car that's a 2020.

Gray / silver blends in with the pavement and is the car I am most likely not to see when turning. Black is super hot in summer. I prefer any other color but those three.

I’m on my fourth blue car. My DH’s have been black, dark gray, another dark gray and black.

Silver is SOOOOOOOO boring.

I have an orange car. Previous cars have been some funky shade of blue - one was sky blue, one was aqua/almost neon blue.

I like *not* getting confused in parking lots!
