I find Ruth Wilson to be a really good actress, but her face is so distracting, particularly her Simpsons-like mouth. I’ll be thinking how pretty she is, and then that weird mouth throws it all off. Shallow, yes, but it is what it is.

I find Maura Tierney unwatchable. I mean I actually can’t stand it when she’s on screen. I’ve never found anything appealing about her and it stretches the imagination to think a man would find her irresistible. It’s not just her looks (she also has those weird duck lips), but her very no-nonsense, practical way of speaking and mannerisms. DULL. I also felt this way when she was on ER and in a relationship with the gorgeous Luka. It made no sense.

And finally, Dominic West. Again, a good actor, but his face annoys me. He almost looks predatory when he smiles, with his big, square white teeth.

That’s it - aside from those observations I’m totally hooked and can’t wait to see where this is going!

Oh, I loved Luka! He was so out of her league, and she actually cheated on him with a character played by Stanley Tucci. WTF?

I find it unrealistic that Helen’s mom has not had a facelift. A woman at her age, so status conscious, and with so much wealth, would definitely have a smooth face.

This would never have occurred to me. What didwas that I found it odd that she went to ca after Vic died for an extended period of time, leaving her husband who had dementia. Yes, he had help but that part wasn’t believable.

Cole is growing on me. I’m mid-season 2 and he’s now with Luisa. I like him better now.

Just finished Season 2 - wow!! What a twist. One thing that is bothering me - why on earth was Helen at the wedding of Cole and Luisa?? They have absolutely nothing to do with one another. I guess I can see why Helen’s mom was there - she was paying for it since Luisa’s mom was her beloved, longtime housekeeper. But Helen?? Ridiculous.

Well Helen grew up with Luisa's mom as like a surrogate mother....I'm assuming that is why.

I agree! On a big screen TV those lips and the surgeries are distracting. Ruth Wilson’s eye brow lifts. Maura unnaturally young but still old face. And West is just OLD with every wrinkle but he’s supposed to be this young sexy guy. By the end I wanted ALL of them to jump back into the ocean.

Joanie looks nothing like she did as a baby/toddler, and nothing like either Alison or Cole. It’s extremely distracting.

Yes, I’m on season 3 and it’s becoming increasingly weird! I really liked the first two seasons - they were grounded in reality, what actually happened, etc . Now it’s getting all psychological and bizarre.

Can anyone tell me why it seems Noah has no money after he gets out of prison? Didn’t he write a successful book which was go into be made into a movie, prior to going to jail? And he and Alison were living in that swanky NYC apartment? So where did all his wealth go?

Authors don’t make as much as you’d think.

This. He probably spent lavishly on credit. We have a recent best selling author speaking at our next book club. She works in a well known clothing store full time.

Season 4 - Cole decides to go on a six-month “walkabout”?? Wtf. He was furious (and rightfully so) with Alison when she abandoned Joanie for six months and now he’s doing the same thing?

Can’t stand Ben. He does absolutely nothing for me.

Helens character is annoying and her lips give me gas pains. Her and the other duck lip lady. Augh, hard to watch. It makes me annoyed
