Would the combination of proximity and siblinghood give us good chances for PK3 for whatever our in-boundary school will be (Maury, Watkins, LT, or Brent)?

Op, like others have said you will likely get a prk spot even if it is after the school year starts. The biggest question is will you have an address and enroll for your IB K next school year before the lottery closes?? Are you planning to play the lottery for K or just go with your IB? The lottery closes March 2nd so that doesn't give you much time to pick a location in time for 1st round lottery picks. But you could list them all in the 1st of 2nd round and once your K is enrolled that will pull up rpk3 on the list. You have to enroll by May for the lottery spots or as they come up. Also, if you want after care best to enroll asap.

OP here. Our plan to is to enroll our oldest to a neighborhood school for 2020-2021 (no lottery: we're moving June/July). Then enter the 2021 lottery for our youngest for a PK3 spot to start in 2021-2022.
