| If you had just seen him eat it and he weren't acting sick, I'd say skip the vet and wait for it to come out the other end. But the licking his lips thing makes me think he's eaten something poisonous. I'd call and ask what they could do at this point either way. |

| Update: vet saw dog and was not concerned. Gave him an anti nausea shot. Tomorrow morning he will be 48 hours vomit free which is great and I am going to cook some rice for him to eat. Will continue to monitor the situation. Thanks all! |
