| Libby is my daughter’s name. This app always gives me a double-take! |

I one of the PP's who couldn't get it to work no matter what.
I removed the app from both my iPad and iPhone and reinstalled on the iPad. All holds were back, so I was relieved. Once signed in, you can easily link another device to synch (in my case my phone). |
| I never had any issues. Holds were always there and updating wait times, and my books played just fine |

I had that. I deleted the app and then reinstalled and signed in. I emailed support and they emailed back something about Montgomery county digital library update or something. They recommended to delete the library card and then sign in again. I got their advice after reinstalling the app, which worked for me, so not sure if that works. Here are the steps from their email:
below. First, remove the old collection by unlinking your card: Go to Menu > See Library Cards. Tap Actions (on your card). Tap Remove Card, then Yes, Remove Card. Then, add the new collection and re-add your library card: Go to Menu > Add A Library. Search for Montgomery County Public Libraries. Tap the library to open its collection. Thanks for contacting OverDrive Technical Support! I'm sorry about any delay. I'm sorry about the confusion. After review, it looks like Montgomery County Public Libraries recently split from Maryland's Digital Library into a standalone collection. When your library was part of the consortium, titles owned by the consortium were available to you as a cardholder of a member library. With the split, you may not see the same titles as before, because you can only borrow titles owned by your library. You may be able to recommend titles to your library via your library's OverDrive website (https://mcplmd.overdrive.com/). If that option's not available, or if you can't find the titles you'd like to recommend, I encourage you to share your suggestions with your library directly (https://montgomerycountymd.libanswers.com/index.php). To add your library's new collection to Libby, follow the steps below. Go to Menu > See Library Cards. Tap Add A Card, then follow the prompts to sign in. Once you re-add your card, your loans will reappear on your Shelf, as long as the titles are in your library's new collection. |
Thank you for posting the instructions! It worked. |
Does this mean that we now will have fewer books in numbers? |
| ^^^i don’t know. I got all my holds back. This is email from overdrive support, so the collection may be different or the same. Good question to call MCPL relevant department and ask. |
