What do you do with legos once they're built?

My son keeps them on his window still. It is like a window seat so it is pretty deep and holds a number of sets.

When they are older and build those big sets they want to keep them.


When he was younger and it was just something he built out of regular lego he would keep them for a bit in the storage bin but then ultimately take them apart.

I built him a lego wall a several years back and that helped keep the lego off the floor. I just bought a bunch of base plates and used the Velcro command strips to attach them to the wall. Then what he built was attached to the wall.
