| We loved the caring atmosphere, programs, and location of Fordham, and it's one of my DC's top choices. It's a great school and they give out some merit scholarships. We loved NYU too but it's larger, a little harder to get in, and they don't offer many scholarships. We didn't look into Pace, but it is located in a nice area of Manhattan, near the financial district. |

BTW Hofstra On Long Island heavily recruiting VA and MD top students and giving free applications and good merit aid. Also St Johns in Queens
Manhattan College also good |
In a sh$t neighborhood. |
| Fordham is 100 times better than Pace. A Fordham degree actually means something. |
Trump went to Fordham. Plus it also has Lincoln center campus and free bus back and forth Manhattan. Dude that part of Bronx has been nice for at least 20 years . It ain’t the 80’s |
This. Trump was almost flunked out and his daddy purchased a slot at Penn for him. And the Fordham neighborhood is extremely nice and has the largest remaining little Italy in the NYC area. Pace’s largest campus is actually in a remote suburb two counties away from manhattan. |
Are you talking about the Pleasantville campus? It's in Westchester and is a stop on Metro-North. |
No it isn't. |
That was me years ago - worked in a large NYC bank merged out of existence. My two cents? Still good for business and also nursing and theater. The big two in NYC are of course Columbia and NYU. If you cannot get into/afford either one, I like Manhattan College and Fordham. CUNY schools are very good but have no idea on out-of-state statistics. |
Look, The Bronx is not Santa Barbara but the area near Fordham also getting better. The Arthur Avenue area near campus is heavily Italian and old school NYC. |
| Pace is not as well known as Fordham, but it is set in a much safer neighborhood. |
No - it’s not. It’s a sh$t hole and the kids from Fordham from Long Island, Westchester, and New Jersey are soft targets in that neighborhood. And with all the underage drinking at the Fordham bars and the unspoken agreement with the 52nd precinct house to keep things quiet. If you raised your kid in the last 20 years being a typical suburban helicopter Mom they don’t belong on Fordham Road. |
I’m guessing you’re a Gonzaga goon? |
| ? In Washington? |
