This - Judy Garland version. The song is so wistful. A bit melancholy. But beautiful - I love it.

Silent Night, i actively try to get away and avoid it because it brings up too much sadness. Its not the lyrics but events it's connected to.

I'll be Home for Christmas - I think of the terrified teenagers in the war and their moms far away.

I’m not very religious but this song gets me every time.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it. It's especially bad if I hear it sung in person!

When my DS was a newborn, that song made me ugly cry. It still makes me tear up.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and I’ll Be Home for Christmas get me, too.

John Denver singing with the Muppets - reminds me of my childhood and several songs off the album are lovely.
Also, “Let it Be” any time of year.

"Christmas Memories" - Frank Sinatra, especially the line

"Shining faces,
of all the children,
who now have children
of their own..."

I always tear up, remembering how quickly time passes in the grand scheme of things.

I also love the song by Nancy Sinatra called "The Most Lonely Time of Year."

Normally it’s Oh Holy Night but this year it was my four year old singing “Let it Go” from Frozen.
