Never say never. |
This - Judy Garland version. The song is so wistful. A bit melancholy. But beautiful - I love it. |
| O Come All Ye Faithful |

Oh Holy Night for traditional songs
Christmas Through Your Eyes - Gloria Estefan for contemporary songs |
| Wintersong - Sarah Mclachlan |
| Silent Night, i actively try to get away and avoid it because it brings up too much sadness. Its not the lyrics but events it's connected to. |
| I'll be Home for Christmas - I think of the terrified teenagers in the war and their moms far away. |
When my DS was a newborn, that song made me ugly cry. It still makes me tear up. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and I’ll Be Home for Christmas get me, too. |
| The Christmas Shoes |
+1 Every. Single. Time. |

John Denver singing with the Muppets - reminds me of my childhood and several songs off the album are lovely.
Also, “Let it Be” any time of year. |
|
"Christmas Memories" - Frank Sinatra, especially the line
"Shining faces, of all the children, who now have children of their own..." I always tear up, remembering how quickly time passes in the grand scheme of things. I also love the song by Nancy Sinatra called "The Most Lonely Time of Year." |
| Normally it’s Oh Holy Night but this year it was my four year old singing “Let it Go” from Frozen. |
