| Raising Dion. Cutest show ever! Loved it! |
This is the one I had in mind when I posted! |
| I love Call the Midwives. It’s from BBC but you can stream the previous seasons on Netflix. |
| Atypical is phenomenal. Loved the kominsky method also. |
| I like Atypical too |

They have so many shows I had to look for a list of Netflix originals and search for good stuff that isn’t extremely well known.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schidt is an over the top comedy although it is about a woman that was kidnapped as a child. A series of unfortunate events has Neil Patrick Harris. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is good. GLOW is surprisingly good Inside Bill’s Brain : Decoding Bill Gates - this is really interesting and was a huge surprise to me. DARK - German time travel sci-fi One Day at a Time is decent for 30 minute TV comedies but not “the best” - it’s a coming of age comedy about a lesbian Cuban Americans in FL I second Russian Dolls listed above The Umbrella Academy is a super hero show Trinkets - a coming of age show about Kleptomaniac teens The Hollow - a cartoon you can enjoy with your kids The Dragon Prince - another cartoon you can watch with the kids - this one made by the folks that did the avatar cartoons There’s plenty more but this is a pretty good list of less well known stuff that I liked. |
| Thank you PP for the specifics! |
| Offspring. |

I loved Call the Midwife -- gentle, character-driven, and extremely accurate from the perspective of medical history.
I was recommended this for ages by many people, and would never, ever watch it (what an unfortunate name!), but then I did: Schitt's Creek. It's what Arrested Development would be if there was no real mean-spiritedness, they lived in a small town, and there were incredible moments of sweetness as the characters lived and grew together. |
Came here to make sure this was mentioned. |
