Having a baby especially your first is life changing. Maybe you PPs have many kids and this is a non-event. Anyway OP just make sure your MIL and DH are comfortable to cook in your home and have a backup plan to order food and house cleaner just in case. Also your baby might be going thru a sleep regression or any other thing so just plan to be flexible and go with the flow.

OP here. Things can change but right now he is doing a 8 hour stretch at night. I sleep that and sleep in after the morning feed too. It could change by then though.

Who takes care of the baby then? Sounds like you don’t work?
