Expectant and Postpartum Moms
I was a size 2 and felt nothing until 28 weeks with my first. I'm serious. Literally the doctor gave me a panic attack when I told her (it wasn't my usual dr that day). Anyway, everything was fine (born at 40 weeks weighing 7 lbs, 7 oz) and she was a calm, sweet baby who never cried (I think she cried a couple of times the first few months for less than a minute-not a joke). My theory is that the more they move in utero, the more active they are when they get out. Hopefully you just have a chill kid. |
| I had a very active baby, so I started feeling movement in the 4th month, and quite a bit of movement in the 3rd trimester. My friend felt almost nothing her entire pregnancy because of the way the baby was positioned and maybe because she had a bit more padding around her middle. (she's an apple, i'm a pear.) Both of our babies were fine. My baby is a very, very, very active 14-month-old and she has a very relaxed, sedate 2-year-old. So you might have been blessed with a chilled-out kid. Good luck! |
