I also agree with presentable loungewear

socks with grips

comfy hair elastics or bands

long and loose button-down shirts (I got a few from Talbot's on sale and still wear them 5 months postpartum)

a beautiful, easy washable, breathable scarf (light cotton) - for wearing and nursing in public

coffee pod machine with biodegradable coffee pods

freezer snacks

coupon for a hair-dresser that does housecalls

help out yourself around the house, with cooking or babysitting

etc

I want to send a little care package for her, but I’m not a mom so I don’t know what would be most appreciated. I want things for her, not for the baby. They already have lots of meals from their church. Any suggestions?

Nothing. Is she so poor or stupid she can't order from Amazon? If her church is bringing her meals then she is not friendless! She had a baby baby open heart surgery!
