I would actually look for a one syllable middle name.
Emily Joy Emily Anne etc. |
Emily is 3 syllables |
Disagree. Those are boring, throw away names. |
| Are neither names meaningful to you? Middle names should be for family. |
+1 But my guess is these are Grandmas and you don't want to pick one based on who you love more, which is why you're asking for which flows better? If I had to choose I'd go Carol because 3 syllable + 3 syllable feels a bit stilted. |
Ummm, how are you pronouncing Emily that it has 2 syllables? |
I agree. That said, if both are equally meaningful, I would go with Theresa. It’s a prettier name, IMO, and flows better with Emily. |
| Emily Theresa |
very good point. I guess i meant the flow to Theresa (3) was better than Carol (2) |
| Emily is overused. If you like the initials “EC” I like the name Erica Ciara. |
This has to be the most DCUM comment ever. Doesn't answer the question, insults the OP, misreads the OP (nothing suggests OP is looking for the initals EC), and suggests a worse name than the one she's criticizing. Brava! |
Agreed. Get some class OP. |
Mellow out, honey! It was just a suggestion. |
This is much better. |
| Emily Carol |
