You only have to invite the entire class if you distribute invites at school. If you can contact the parents individually you can invite whoever's you choose.

That's true. But we also would like to be kind and include the class. These are a good group of kids and my child is friends with many of them. Thanks all for the good suggestions. Nature Center (from another poster) sounds fun too!

PP here. I think it's great you re inviting the entire class. My comment was in response to your post saying you had to invite all and I was unsure that's what you wanted. Hope your DC has a great birthday!
