Such ignorance from OP.

I hope it's a troll.

It’s fermented grass.

I mean what percentage of public trails in America have regular use by horses. 3? 5?
Just go somewhere without horses.

How exactly do you suggest they do that?

They stop, pick up the manure, and bury it at least 6 inches deep 20-feet off the trail.

Lolololol. As a lifelong equestrian, it doesn't work that way. The parks know it doesn't work that way. You're cute, OP. Get a hobby and my job.

Hahaha! I grew up with horses. The OP has clearly never been near one. It’s kinda cute, really.

This is the key point. Herbivore poop is waaaaaaay different than omnivore/carnivore poop.

This summer on vacation we were hiking on a trail that was apparently used by some company that led groups on horseback. We didn't see the horses or riders but staff where driving the trail with a pickup truck scooping up the poop (probably from the day before). Glad they did that but I think it would be unnecessary for trails that get much less horse traffic.

Maybe you could start riding backwards so you can keep an eye on things back there? Or hold a mirror while you ride?
