Heres a new twist on caregiver drama: bedbugs

It can happen anywhere. My father’s expensive assisted living facility had them. Also, libraries, hotels, schools, theaters.

Keep your eyes open and seek professional help quickly if you notice bugs. Professional extermination combined with drying all fabric items in a hot dryer. Seal other items in plastic bags for weeks.

My sister is working it out with them and planning on getting them to pay. The first bill is over $2500. The worker was negligent because she knew she had been exposed/had them and did nothing to prevent spreading them in her bags/clothing when she worked overnights. My dad was bitten and of course she exposed colleagues/other caregivers who also spent time in the house.
