Rain puddle in car - how?

This happened to me. We thought it was the sunroof but that turned out to be incorrect. It was the vents between the hood and the windshield: leaves and other debris were impeding drainage and the overflow was being pumped into car--thus the wet floorboards.
I had taken the car two times to a dealership and they failed to figure this out. It was only after I took it to a different dealership that the real problem identified. They were able to quickly flush the debris from the vents and we haven't had a problem since (and fortunately there was no damage to the floorboard or any related issues, e.g., mold, smell, etc.). |
