| I’m an evening runner and it works for me but I think I’ve just been conditioned this way almost my entire life. Maybe not 8PM late, but sometimes. High school, practices after school and nighttime when we had to share the gym. College as a D1 athlete - some morning workouts but most were after class, and games could go until 8-9PM. Grad school, I preferred to take earlier classes and work our afterward. So it’s just always been what I’m used to. I follow a rigorous training schedule so I have no trouble falling and staying asleep. |
| When I was in my 20s and staying up until 11 or 12, a 7pm workout was perfect. Fifteen years later and with kids I like to be asleep by 10p, so 5am works much better. |

I love evening workouts. They melt the stress away. Just finished a run actually.
But I also love working out in the morning. Typically I can only get out of bed to do it when I am on work travel though. |
| It works for me, but I cannot work out in the morning without feeling horrible all day. So maybe your body is the same with nighttime exercise. |
| Works for me- only time I have with two kids. Make sure you are eating enough protein and give yourself a few weeks to adjust. Some of us will just NEVER wake up at 4 or 5 to workout. I accept that. |

I did it for almost a year, then switched to 5 AM workouts and I've never felt better. I workout harder so I quickly went from just working out for maintenance to being in the best shape of my life.
Try it. It only took a week for me to get used to the schedule change. |
