I also read that in pediatric vaccines there is tends to be more of an issue with the antigen sticking to the vial - but the 12% drop in potency does not seem to be a big deal in terms of efficacy.

This is a great excuse for the media to get everyone amped up again - I've seen some silly headlines about this, and you read the story and find out the shot is still safe and effective.
