Meeting New Moms

I second the MONA idea. I have been a member for about a year and it is great. Not only for playgroups, but also as a place to just ask for advice, etc. It is very similar to DC Urban Moms, but only for N. Arlington moms, so recommendations, etc are much more specialized to your area. I would also recommend looking into Stroller Strides. I know they have classes at Lubber Run by Ballston. I have not taken a class, but I have heard they are great and it would be a good way to meet some moms and get some exercise! Good luck!

Would you like to participate in a focus group on Friday 11am?
We are a group of moms that take our kids to baby yoga at Virginia Hospital and we were invited to participate in a Focus Group.
We will have lunch together for free, talk about our main interests in raising our children and get movie tickets.
It will be fun!
If you are interested, call 202-540 7407 and speak to Yvette.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know it is totally normal to feel stir crazy around 3wks postpartum. Get out for walks, go have coffee, hit the museums, swing your baby at the park, etc. You'll meet people just being out and about. And you can ask them how they connected with other moms.
