+1. With all three kids, I went out from the day we came home from the hospital. I made sure people washed their hands before touching the baby but otherwise didn’t take any special precautions. Our pediatrician was completely fine with that, and none of my kids had even a sniffle until they were well out of the newborn stage. |

If you're physically ready and mentally go! for yourself first then for your kids, you'll enjoy the fresh air and seeing other people! your baby will be fine (I took mine in the metro when she's less than a month)
just make sure to clean your hands before holding the baby! Enjoy mama and don't forget to buy a coffee |
| Depends on your baby and your physical recovery. I was doing pick up at daycare in less than a week. I used maternity leave as an opportunity to pick my older kid up at 3pm instead of 5pm and go to the park most days. I wore the baby or kept him in a stroller. |
