The Bullis MS is great, with small classes and those that are more advanced for those that want it, and average for those that are not as academically advanced. There aren't any classroom issues beyond what you'd normally find anywhere, and individual teachers obviously handle things differently. The PP who made those statements either was never a Bullis parent (there a lot of people who post derogatory remarks without any real experience) or has an axe to grind.
I have two kids who just entered the US, and have nothing but good things to say about our experience. Dr Moreno, the head of the MS, is great. Go see Dr Trammell, he's the new admissions director at Bullis, and was the assistant head of the MS until this year. He can tell you anything you need to know about whethr Bullis is a good fit for your child--which is all that matters. As for distance, I live in VA and don't find it to be a problem logistically or socially for my kids. It's worth looking at. If you like it, great. If it's not for your son, that's fine too. ![]() |
ACPS is Arlington, no? Bullis has busses. There are kids coming from farther away than Arlington. |
