Since money isn't actually an issue, suck it up and participate, especially if the "bachelorette" party doesn't involve flying. Celebrate her new life. Be a good friend.

Do you know what the bachelorette entails? I'm 33 and most of the bachelorette parties I've been to lately are low key spa weekends with a nice dinner and some drinks. Even if we do something bigger like go to a nearby casino, it's not the same blow out that it was when I was in my 20s.

So I would attend those whether it was someone's 1st, 2nd, or 3rd marriage because I enjoy it. I'd only spend the money on a blow out party bachelorette thing if it was a close friend
