| I worked (and still work) my butt off to get back in shape. I am pretty close to being in the best shape of my life. And I still have the gross flabby belly that I don't think is going away. The weird thing is that the flab is located only on my lower stomach (from below my belly bottom to my lovely c-section scars), but I have a 4-pack above my belly button and you can also tell looking at my sides as you move out from the ball o' flab that there are some well developed abs under it. The flab is so loose that I can grab it in my hand and move it around. I thought a lot about a tummy tuck because it seemed to be both the only solution and one that would be pretty simple for my situation. Then I saw pictures on the internet of the incisions and scars and read about recovery issues. That pretty much ended the interest for me. |

My first reaction to the subject of this thread was a hearty laugh. But here's the thing - even though my stomach is not as flat or toned as before, it's not really that bad. If I worked out more, I'm sure it would look better. No, it will never be the same, but I wouldn't trade a flat belly for my kids.
That said, I do wonder how celebrities do it. I think Heidi Klum must be a freak of nature, in a good way. |
1. tummy tuck after c-section, in the same operating theater. 2. lipo for the muffin top sides 3. a lot of celebrities have their babies when they are 23 years old! when skin is super elastic and full of collagen. think Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, etc etc etc. Not all, but a lot of them are 10 to 15 years younger than the moms in my 'hood. |
I could have written this. sad, eh? |

Yes, after the first pregnancy, and natural delivery my belly went back to normal pretty fast.
My second (C-section) is 3 now, and I can't even look at my tummy
