The article mentioned that the student changed his story to the cops when they found the items in the backpack, that yes, he was dealing, near a Hoover MS, and St Andrews where the POTUS son attends school. Throw the book at him, I say. Dealing is bad enough; dealing near a school.. maximum penalty.

I sure hope MCPD will charge him soon, right? Or is that just wishful thinking?

They’re not going to charge him. Now he’s the victim of a robbery, they need to be able to talk to/interview him, which is much harder if they’re prosecuting him too and he gets a lawyer.

If MCPD charge people who sell drug, he should be charged. Maybe in a seperated case later.

This is the email from the Churchill principal regarding the incident. There's no mentioning that a Churchill student who is a drug dealer was involved. No follow up email was sent when new information came forward about the vicim. Churchill has a huge drug problem because MCPS and the police do nothing to keep drugs out of schools. Just check backpacks and you will identify the dealers at school.

Mrs. Heckert's email:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to inform you that yesterday afternoon around 4:30 p.m., there was police activity in front of Herbert Hoover Middle School in response to a non-school related incident. Three males were apprehended and taken into police custody. This incident did not impact our after school activities. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Brandice C. Heckert

Principal

Winston Churchill High School

+1 If he were not white, I bet he would be charged more quickly.

Is he white or white? How do you know he is not an Asian?

I agree if the person is a dealer, he should be charged. There should be an investigation as to if this individual was dealing on school grounds at Churchill, St. Andrews, or Hoover. I assume that since he wasn't charged, he still attends Churchill.

The article doesn't say anything name or race of the dealer so anyone making an assumption is just feeding a stereotypical bias.

It takes a certain level of entitlement to call the cops when you are the dealer and you were robbed. It must be someone who thought the system would protect them.

Well thank goodness he didn’t do that. Also thank goodness he didn’t do the non-hood thing and shoot up the whole damn school.

That would have cost him customers

He should be expelled from school and charged for dealing drugs. I am sure he has sold drugs to many kids at school too.

Also don't understand why his name is kept private, I am sure many people know who he is and need to expose him. Kids are dying from THC Vape it has been all over news and he is selling it and goes free...………...

1. He is a juvenile and his name is non of your business.
2. Drug dealing is a 5 day suspension not expulsion.
