Halloween decor

I haven't seen any Halloween decor yet but definitely seeing the fall wreaths and such.

Do you OP. It's all good.

Why does it matter to you what brings someone else joy? https://onsizzle.com/t/avacado-toast

What’s wrong with you? And what is wrong with OP that she needs to crowdsource approval for her out of season decorations?

I’m always tempted by potted Mums at this time of the year but the flowers I’ve grown over the Spring and Summer are really looking good, not ready to get rid of those yet. Plus it still feels like Summer. I’ll wait until October.

Nope, not until October. Sorry!

I decorated for Fall on Labor Day.

Yes it is super early but it brings me joy.

Let me guess, you decorated with a fake leaf wreath from Micheal’s? Michael’s is where basic b*tches go to die.

I have a full on haunt in my front yard for Halloween and girl, no way. It is way too soon. I agree it can cheer you up but go straight to fall decoration and wait for Halloween.

We've been doing a million Halloween-themed crafts from Michael's with our Halloween-obsessed three-year-old. We've been waiting all year for this!

Have fun, OP!

October 1 is the earliest.

While I've never been big on decorating for Halloween, I think you should do whatever makes you/your family happy.

Growing up we would put up our Christmas tree and decorate the whole house for Christmas the first weekend after Halloween. It was great. The novelty did not get old. I still remember how magical it was to sit in the living room under the colored tree lights. We played Christmas carols, made ornaments, went into full-scale Christmas mode.

It was really hard for me to adjust to my husband's views that Christmas was not to be seen until Thanksgiving was over. Even worse, as the kids got older, post-Thanksgivibg got incredibly busy, and there were some years I couldn't coordinate everybody's schedules enough to put up the tree.

As long as you enjoy it, it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. Your kids can treasure it as something special their family did.

I wasn't seeking approval--I was sharing my joy. Some of you can't seem to handle it. Hope your Halloween bags are stuffed with rocks and a black cat crosses your path----mwah ha ha!

This is the best DCUM clapback of the week!

Yes, you are the only family.

Yep, but you can bet I will be out there on October 1.
