Scotch guard dining chairs

We're pretty eco-friendly, but I have scotchguard on my upholstery. It's a one-time thing, not an on-going lifestyle.

That’s the point about scotch guard - it is ongoing and shedding into your home and lungs all of the time. You can’t see asbestos or radon either; that doesn’t mean they’re not harming you.

Does Guardian 9 fabric protector have the same health/environmental issues as Scotchguard?

My husband and I bought beautiful barrel chairs from RH They were delivered a few weeks ago and we are planning on having Thanksgiving dinner for our family. Although all adults there is no guaranty of accidents not happening. Thankyou for all the input. We are now searching for a professional who will guarantee treatment We spent plenty on these chairs. They are worth the investment for a professional. At least we will find out
