Waxing eyebrows?

Anonymous
My 10 year old DD was just asking to get her eyebrows done. They are thick and in unibrow territory. She doesn’t have much tolerance for pain so when we do go I will give her Advil beforehand. I was teased in high school for my bushy brows. My mother was no help and I did a terrible job tweezing them.

Took my DD for her first brow wax last week. I had them mostly clean them up since she has a nice shape. Make sure you go to a real salon and not a nail place so that the person doing it doesn't;t mess them up.

Try threading instead and then take pictures and have your DD learn how to clean the area up.

+1 I took my DD to get them threaded when she was 12 because she asked. Her eyebrows are dark and were like the Mississippi Delta. I didn't have my done until I was in college because my mother was like 18:23. I went with my college roommate who my mother was convinced was a slut/bad influence. I'm 54 and she's still my best friend, but I digress.

I thought threading may be better than waxing but my DD says it really hurts. However, her skin didn't/doesn't get nearly as irritated as mine does when waxed. So we continue to get them threaded.

My advice, which I haven't seen anyone post, is to get her some good tweezers to keep her brows cleaned up between threading/waxing. She'll soon learn how to keep them well shaped.
