BCC HS but not IB?

If at BCC and the student is capable, plan on IB classes. They don't have to complete the entire IB diploma. Assume this has not changed.

And if it takes being admitted to IB to take classes, do that. If you need to remain silent re: intentions to not complete the diploma in order to take some of the classes, do that.

Hello, people - once again, there is NO “admission” to IB. If you want to take an IB class or do the entire degree, you can. The school may ask you to sign up for the IB degree for the purpose of planning/teacher allocation/ support, but that’s not an “admission” process.

No one cares if a student takes one class or the whole degree. It’s entirely the student’s choice.
