Pete Buttigieg & Stacey Abrams 2020

I’m a Harris/Buttigieg pusher, but I have to say I’m quite intrigued by the idea of this ticket. If Buttigieg heads the ticket, he needs a strong/popular POC as VP. I also think he’d need a woman on the ticket.

Buttigieg/Abrams, what say you?

are you on the campaign? Because this is very common talk among people on the campaign.

Yes, because we no longer even pretend to nominate people based on their qualification.......female, black, gay, young......eh, I think we can do better. Find me a ticket that’s also first gen legal American, handicapped and trans.

And people no longer firm opinions and make comments based on facts. While I’m not pushing this ticket, both of these people are intelligent, experienced and qualified. Fir you to ignore that to just focus on their race, gender and orientation shows how petty and racist you are.

No you dullard, the racist was the PP stating that the VP slot had to be a POC. Thats the cripplingly idiotic mentality that reigns today. And I assume you’re joking if you think a one term mayor (who by all accounts isn’t doing a stellar job) of a small city is the most qualified candidate for president.

Oh, and btw you earn extra dullard points for reflexively (and illogically) accusing me of being a racist. I think that’s scripted response #2 in the imbecile playbook.

#2 is misogynist

# 3 is homophobe

#4 is Islamophobe

#5 is dog whistle

#6 is gas lighting

#7 is Russian bot

#8 is MAGAt

#9 is any combination of the above

They really complement each other very well on policy and style. It'd also create an appealing (contrasting) government reform theme for the campaign.

And be a huge loser. The Repubs would love it, but rational Dems would not consider suicide at the polls next year with a ticket like this.

Maybe, but two extremely intelligent people who have shown they have the capacity to care about others above themselves. They both have ideas to improve things and the mental acuity to implement them.

Hell, that’s a vast improvement!

They’re a joke.
Buttageig cant even run his town. All the republicans have to do is run his town hall dumpster fire.
And Stacey abrams apparently will never get past the fact that she lost a democratic election.
She’s a pandering know nothing.
Not even liberals are dumb enough to run these two clowns.

Why is a preachy mayor of an irrelevant city the subject of so much interest? Elizabeth “Liz” Warren is our next president, folks.

It's gonna be Biden/Warren or nothing.

Trump voter here. Brilliant idea, OP... please please please go work for this ticket!

(But, in reality, I don't think even the current Dem party is dumb enough to go along with something like this.)

nope

If she's on the ticket as the lead, you'll see more third party votes.

I'll head third party or I'll vote R if Turmp's not the candidate.

No way, incredibly low voter recognition for both, especially Abrams! People don’t know them. They wouldn’t win. Good people, incredible futures, but not happening

NP. I understand that. However—- why is Buttigieg/abrams (in this proposed scenario) more palatable to you than Warren?

Lordy, no one is as preachy as Warren. She is the preachiest preacher among the preachy Dem lot.
