Tell me about an annoying person in your life right now

Given all the threads on spousal problems and marriage troubles on this forum, I'm really surprised nobody wrote husband or wife as the most annoying person in their life.

I was on the verge of writing DH and DS (both have HfA). Then I realized it’s probably that I’m just stressed out and that most of the things that annoy me aren’t easily controlled by them. My stress will pass and until then, I’ll fake it till I make it re: pretending they’re not the most annoying people to me right now.

It isn't that I dont hate any of these, but when the guy is revving his motorcycles for hours on the weekend while carrying his gun, smoking a cigar and drinking from the liquor bottle I get pretty annoyed. Best weekend days are when he does this then at 1 am goes outside with his friends and make a bunch of noise. He does quite down when I ask him, but he keeps starting up again, which wouldn't be a problem if I didn't hate getting out of bed at 1am.

Also, who the hell carries while getting drunk!?

This is illegal in pretty much every state

Ah yes, gun nuts care about the law. Lol.

Probably legal on his own property.

If it were illegal in every state to be in possession of a firearm while drinking, you would have the lock up the entire population of Alaska and half the population of Wisconsin.

A friend who simply cannot see that a former mutual friend is a narcissistic user with borderline tendencies and it has affected so many people. What hold does she have on you and how can you condone this? It’s blatantly obvious to everyone who encounters her..

People like this are the worst . Hate to sound like a Trumpster but if you don't like it here and have the financial means to move and constantly bitch, gtfo. I say this as an Asian Democratic immigrant who is well aware of the issues we have here but come on.

Jehova witness? Sounds like my secretary

I think there's some of these that post on DCUM.

My coworker who was hired here nearly 2 years ago and still can't do the basics of her job. She was put on a PIP, boss told her to ask her colleagues for more help, and told all of us to help her out because she was so out of her depth. So now her entire way of working is to ask other people to do things for her. When you take the teach-a-(wo)man-to-fish approach like pointing out the folders where the information is stored, she will just continually bombard you with questions: "Which file?" "Is this the right one?" "What would you say the answer is?" "Can you review this email before I send it out?" It's exhausting. And my boss had the nerve to say yesterday that this person is really improving. Ugh. /vent

Start answering all her questions via email and CC your boss. And if you want to be evil--start verbally telling her the wrong way of doing things...

My co worker got a tummy tuck but has decided to only tell me this and tell the rest of the office some very vague "stomach surgery" story which makes it sound like she probably has cancer. The wording really was fishy and made me wonder what she's starting to stir up. "After years of symptoms and visiting more specialists I am now ready to have a procedure ...." Everyone is so worried about her and come to me as we are perceived to be the closest in the office. Last night I ran meals to her from our admin and tonight I am dropping off gift cards that were collected from everyone. Makes me puke.

OMG we had one who constantly talked about how she needed sick time for her surgery, lots of recovery time, etc.

Turned out she was getting Lasik.

+1. I need to sleep more and work out more and skipping out on both of these is making me a more neurotic person. I am doing a normal amount of things but it's making me crazy.
