Same. I love a good pea coat with an extra wide collar, but it needs more structure than this. This just looks like a wool bathrobe |
Looks like a bathrobe to me. One that washes her out. |
It's a little weird to be wearing a wool coat with strappy sandals, no? |
| I always love the coats made by Soia & Kyo. Stylish and also warm. I just looked and they don't have their winter coat collection out right but you can check come fall time. |
|
Another vote for wrap coats look like bath robes. I also don't like to tie my trench belt in a knot for that reason.
Wool coats with buttons are nicer IMO |
Any suggested pieces then? My budget is up to $1,900 for those who asked. |
Right, but you’re tasteless. |
Why are you this lazy? Google, bim. |
Wool coats with buttons isn't exactly a reference point. There are so many styles, cuts, and excellent designers to choose from but go off. |
The coat is still ugly. Just being expensive doesn't make a thing attractive. |
That is not a winter coat. |
| Max Mara coats are lovely but they are not warm. Many of them are the wrap style, and they have no buttons, so they are difficult to walk in (like a bathrobe). They are frequently also unlined. If you want a MM coat with buttons that is heavier and lined, you will exceed your budget. |
| Mackage makes beautiful coats. I dispute the bathrobe comments - I think wrap coats are elegant as long as they are high quality. For a more structured profile, Smythe and Burberry... |
I have a Fleurette Stand Collar Coat from Nordstrom and I love it, instantly elevates any outfit. |
