IUI Success Over 40?

Have you asked your doctor about natural supplement options like CoQ10 for fertility support?

Your AMH is severely low. It is likely that you will not respond well to medications given in IVF, but it is still possible. That said, while IUI ie not as successful, many folks dealing with DOR have found success with IUI and not IVF. If I were you, I would join reddit and go to their infertility group. Much more information, examples, and knowledge on that site than here.

Yeah. I’m suspicious about my AMH level though. It was taken after being on a medicine that may have affected my hormones. Nonetheless, you’re probably right. I very much appreciate your insight. And I think I’ll try to be patient —maybe try a few more IUIs if this fails.

Interestingly I am responding to the medications for IUI—at least somewhat. I think it just took a little longer to get it figured out. Thanks again.

Hi there! Yes I’m taking CoQ10 and a few other supplements (Vit d), folic acid, biotin, dhea. Etc.
