The minivan is absolutely what you want, even if you don’t realize it yet. My kids are all grown up and out of the house, and I still drive one! Best transportation innovation of the 20th century and still going strong!

+1 on the Minivan. Everyone drives an SUV...why not be different and be happy. My son recently bought one used coming off a three year lease and saved a lot of money for a car in fantastic condition. It has captain’s chairs and is very easy to get to the third row, much easier then in a big SUV.

Ugh! My daughter has one and it is an absolute tank. Getting back to the third row to make sure a seatbelt is on takes a huge effort. My other daughter has a minivan and she loves it. Sliding doors, easy to get in.
