This. And when it’s too complex or you don’t have that great BFF, your therapist or sometimes you just deal on your own. I find journaling helpful. When overwhelmed because I cannot share stuff, I write down everything bothering me I have zero control over, in one pile. Things I can control, in another pile. Ditch the shit you can’t control. Get it out of your sub conscience. Get to work and take action on what you can control. Do not dwell on stuff you can’t control. We can become our own worst enemies in a cycle of worry beyond our control. In sum, you have a trusted inner circle or don’t. If not, write it out. Ditch any worries outside your control. Do not confide with just anyone. |
