Switching OB for complete placenta previa

I didn’t have placenta previa but did have a severe hemorrhage after birth and would recommend that’s you keep in mind the possibility that *you* (not just the baby) require a stay in the ICU. I assume Sibley is equipped to handle a massive bleed, but just wanted to chime in so you don’t forget about yourself. I needed 11 units of blood and interventional radiology after my baby was born, and I’ve been told that not all hospitals are equipped to handle that kind of thing.
