I use a Thermacell outside. I’m not sure if the chemicals are safe to use indoors, though. You definitely need to be sure to turn it off when you’re done for the night because it contains a small butane flame.

Fans help keep them from biting.

Essential oils like lemongrass, lavender, and mint are supposed to repel mozzies. Trouble is that eventually they evaporate or you blow out the candle for the evening and the insects are still in the house waiting to bite.

I usually just keep an Afterbite and a tube of hydrocortisone nearby this time of year.
