The teachers are resentful in these places. They may not show it, but they are. One cannot work nonstop like a robot, especially when it's in a caring role.


This is not true. This must be a teacher.


We have used a center like that. The teachers get paid vacation to use when they choose. Like most other professionals, they may only get 1-2 weeks to start. That puts them in the same boat as nanny’s and all the officer workers.

Look for a preschool that offers before and after care to make for full-day care, 5 days a week, year round. You'll have better luck if you asked for daycare or center recommendations.
Most "preschools" in upper NW follow a school year calendar and are probably better suited for families that have a nanny or a stay-at-home/ flex work parent. However the JCC, School for Friends, and Franklin Montessori are some options you could consider.
