Never once lost a clothing item to a stain since I discovered presoaking in oxiclean

+1. We keep a bucket with water and oxiclean on our washer. Stained clothes go in, and once a week those go in the laundry. Pretty much everything comes out.

+++ I don't know how I didn't know about this sooner. I was spraying each and every stain with stain remover and only 1/2 was coming clean until I learned of the oxyclean soak!

I soak in oxyclean for at least 24 hours. Never had issues with colors running.

The Resolve stain stick is now the Spray 'n Wash stain stick. It is also my favorite stain remover but it helps if it sits on the stain for at least a hour before tossing it into the washer. I will also use a few drops of Dawn dish soap on food stains (do not pour this in your washer). I rub in a little Dawn and also let it sit for an hour or so before washing.

I've never had anything run in my soaks.

Shout has actually worked pretty well for us. Sometimes I soak stuff.

Do you refresh the oxy soak bucket each time? Or you guys mean you have a bucket with water and oxyclean and you reuse it over and over?
