| Elon thrown a lot of shade, but one of the best colleagues I ever had is an Elon comms grad. Elon didn't create the personality, but clearly made a strong impression. |
| Great school, great outcomes. Kids seem happy. It is for those next tier kids that have an interest in going south but cannot get into Vanderbilt, Davidson, Wake Forest, Richmond. But like the others, somewhat of a rich kid school. |

Preppy
White Conservative families Party school Usually middle of the class head there. top 25% of class get in with some aid. Lots of full pay students. Kids that go seem to love it, but it fit their personality. Reminds me of a southern Miami - Ohio |
| Elon grad here. Great place for me. Strong alumni network. Great internship and study abroad programs. |
| I've hired two interns from there and kept one on as a full-time employee. Both were very impressive. They majored in business/media analytics and seemed to get a lot of good experience in their classes and the internship requirements for one who was a current student were more demanding than other interns we've had. |

My son got a nice merit scholarship from Elon and he just finished his freshman year as a communication major (thinking of doing something with political science in there too). He really likes it and has found it to be a friendly, collaborative environment. Greek life is definitely a thing but he has not felt "left out" or anything by not partaking- just no interest.
It is definitely not a conservative school. |
