Arlington: Theo Stamos and her RIDICULOUS discovery policy

So prosecutors should just hand their game plan over to the thug’s lawyers, so he can target the witnesses. Yeah, we see that in DC. No thanks.

Theo protects us. She makes sure our neighborhoods are clean and safe. She knows people who get arrested probably did all sorts of things before they got caught. She’s not going to let some sleazy lawyer crying about “fairness” endanger any more victims.

When people think of moving to Arlington from DC, their first question is about petty crime. If Arlington emulates DC’s criminal justice practices, there will be little reason to move from one petty crime jurisdiction to another.

So people are ok with Parisa running a Trump-like campaign filled with outright lies, distortions, and "alternative" facts?

Because that is exactly how she is spending her $500k PAC money. Trying to accuse Theo of covering up police brutality, but neglecting to mention the officer was attacked by a metal pipe and needed 60 stitches to his face. Saying Theo tried two 10 year olds as felons, while Theo was not involved in the case o people are ok with Parisa running a Trump-like campaign filled with outright lies, distortions, and "alternative" facts?
and the 10 year olds were sent to counseling and mental health for trying to kill their teacher. etc etc

It is not ok to resort to outright deception in order to win an election. If this is her conduct BEFORE she is elected, when she is still accountable and being kept under the eye of would-be voters, how will she behave once she is in office?

I wasn’t really going to vote, but after Parisa‘s ugly campaign I will head out tomorrow to vote against her.

Yep. Huge turn off.

Same here. Turned me off AEM too.

In much the same way that a neighbor took advantage of neighborhood email addresses to send daily “Blue Wave” spam last fall, the Parisa boosters have inappropriately taken advantage of the AEM platform to spew their message. The fact that moderators fully allow it is disgusting.

I can’t wait to vote, and I can’t wait to have this election in the rear view mirror.

I'm sure the crazy lying Parisa person will be elected. Nothing that Arlington liberals love to do more than ruin their own community. Low income ghettos? Yes, please. Taking away parking for unused bike lines? Yes. Putting a homeless shelter in the midst of an expensive yuppy area so that people get stabbed and robbed while going to the movies? Give me more! Electing someone who will work to ignore crime in the community? Why not.

Theo’s trying so hard to explain that we’re safe BECAUSE the blacks and Latinos get locked up first and then have to prove they deserve to go free. But she can’t just say that explicitly because then she’ll be called a racist and even more Soros money will flood the race. It’s not fair for a prosecutor to do everything right to win re-election, only to be endangered by a fad like “criminal justice reform”.

If you told people in the 1970s that someone like Parisa is threatening Theo, they would look at you like you have three heads. My how we’ve fallen.

And that is exactly what I just did.

How long is Parisa's term?

If it’s one day it’s too long.
