As she did not coach you or anyone else as a Stars player, I will stick to the assumption that a disgruntled parent, rival coach, or competing club owner is posting for their own psychotic needs or possible monetary gain. Not a surprise with over 400 wins, the coach probably has made a few enemies along the way.

BI beat SSSAS for the last 2 years in OT by 1 point both times for the VISAA championship and VISI won the ISL championship last year for the first time ever. Saints are done, no way they will return to their winning ways. BI has figured out how to beat them every time and VISI has an unbeatable roster. Saints Coach would be better off changing leagues to avoid the embarrassment of losing.

Congrats to the Coach for winning the ISL Championship by beating Georgetown Visitation and the VISAA Championship by beating BI and finishing 25W - 2L. Awesome accomplishment for her, her staff and her girls!!

OP here - teams now out - over half of the team from Capital and over 1/3 from Head Coaches team - guys a complete joke. I predict he will not have the same level of success "he" had last year

The process this year was the most corrupt its ever been. A coach/evaluator who was there said it was pure horse trading for the selections - not at all based on actual evaluations - and specific coaches got a certain pre-determined number of player to appoint to the team but the others had no say at all. Some of the selections are deserved but 4-5 of the most outstanding players trying out were completely shut out because of the dirty politics. UA needs to clean this mess up. They should bring in out of state coaches, or maybe college/professional players, to do the evaluations/selections, not local club and high school coaches.

I heard the same thing and our girls are too old to even try out. The person who told me said it was disgusting to see and hear. And guess which frequently discussed female coach from Alexandria was right in the middle of it? Anyone surprised? Make that a big NO. What a disgrace she is to all of us.

This, there are some totally insane lax parents on here. Something tells me these are the same posters who also complained the 2022 capital team selections were political amd wrong because their daughters weren’t selected for the Capitals A team.

The roster looks balanced given the records of the area schools and the final national rankings. SSSAS has 4 and beat my DD team in state tourney, but you have 5 public school girls, 2 from my DD team @ BI, 2 Stone Ridge, 2 Holy Cross, 2 Visi, and then 1 each from the other area private schools. Was SSSAS' KJ an evaluator, cause all I can see is the Stone Ridge and Sidwell coaches in the materials?

FWIW DC's UA Highlight Team made the final play-offs as the 3rd seed beating the New Jersey and Midwest Teams, and losing one-point contests to the South and CONNY Teams. They play the New England Team tomorrow in the quarter finals, and if successful play Baltimore which has a bye as the 2nd seed. The winner will face whatever team emerges out of the Long Island/CONNY/Philly side of the bracket.
