Why do you walk directly in front of my car when there is no intersection or crosswalk????
Sure if I hit you, I wouldn’t be legally liable (as long as I stay), but do not want to live the rest of my life w/your blood on both hands. |
|
I'll add another. Get off your effing PHONES. Certainly ANY car must have bluetooth capability by now.
And STOP THE EFFING TEXTING WHILE "DRIVING." I hope one day that car manufacturers have some sort of device that disables a phone while driving. |

Why, when I was waiting to turn left on piney branch onto blair, (and did not have tbe Green arrow) did you pull into the right lane and try to cut me and the incoming traffic off???? How did you think that was gonna go, DCI minivan mom?
Did you note that I blocked you and then went 5 mph down Blair? That was by design. Do not pass people to make a left turn when they are making a left turn. Not rocket science. |
It’s incredibly unsafe to have your phone disabled while driving. What if an emergency happens? |
I feel you, buddy, but you lose me when you pull that 5 mph BS. I was two cars back, stuck behind you two children. |
|
- why do you drive 15 miles under the speed limit?
- why do you pull out in front of me, causing me to slam on my breaks and then proceed to drive 15 miles under the speed limit? |
Are you seriously this incredibly stupid or is this sarcasm? If you are driving a vehicle and talking/texting on your phone you should be arrested. I think they have a nice jail house in Chevy Chase Village. Are your friends and family aware of your limited ability to follow instructions? WOW! |
No. I am not stupid. An emergency can happen at any time, that is a fact. It may not be limited to a car accident either. It could be back pain during a commute or a heart attack. What if I need to contact a doctor for an appointment or contact my spouse? How will my spouse know that I am having heart attack symptoms? I'm listening.... |

You are stupid AND paranoid! And making the rest of us unsafe. Yup - contacting a doctor about an appointment while you are driving is a valid reason to have your phone on and handy while driving - that call couldn't wait! |
Actually you could be liable if you were speeding or using your phone while driving or drunk etc - traffic engineers expect people to sometimes step off the curb unexpectedly or cross mid-block and that is one of the myriad reasons why speed limits in busy areas with pedestrians are set much lower than cars can drive. BTW in DC there are circumstances in which jaywalking is perfectly legal. |
| Why can’t you get into the curbside lane when turning? Please don’t block two lanes because you are lazy. |
|
Why do you stop in the middle of a road while trying to figure out if you're supposed to turn here or there?
For the love of god, you keep going and pull over. You don't stop in the middle of a road or at a green light. You also don't F up traffic and try and switch lanes or get off an exit at the last second. You keep going, and turn around. It doesn't matter if it takes more time - you don't screw up the flow of traffic because you weren't paying attention or don't know where you're supposed to go. |
|
If you can't parallel park, don't take up the space of 2 cars, parking in the middle and leaving an absurd excess amount of space in front and in back.
Find another spot, at the end, where you know you can get out. Stop wasting so much space and being so selfish. |
