So one name site said that Kyree as a female name is the female version of Cyrus.

As another PP mentioned, Kyle is similar in spelling.

Another site says that the name Kyree may be derived from the Greek Kyrios meaning lord. Other names also derived from Kyrios include Kiril, Kyril, Kyran, Kyrie (alternative spelling of OP's DH's name).

You can reverse the letters and go with Krys. or Chris (derived from Christ, which is similar in origin).

Kyrk is an alternate spelling of Kirk.
